ABC of Ashtanga
Saturday October 26 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. - with Max Becker
Treat yourself to a 2 hour workshop at It's Yoga Firenze. Focusing on the foundation of Ashtanga Vinyasa -breath, bandhas and asana alignment, you will learn how to deepen and expand your own practice, listen to your body and increase your connection with your higher teacher.
By paying attention to “how do I feel,” rather than “how is this supposed to look” you will learn to build our own unique experience in any class no matter the teacher, the language or the type of yoga.
Some topics may include:
What are Bandha's and how can they elevate and deepen the practice?
Ujjayi Pranayama breathing techniques, and the importance of the breath.
Deconstruction of asanas to understand purpose, safe modifications and kinetic chains.
How to bring new challenges to an intermediate or advanced pratice?
This workshop will also have time for questions about personal practices and challenges. We will keep a lighthearted and authentic flow to personalizes the workshop based on specific needs and desires of those in attendance.
